Dr Antonio Figueiredo is a Consultant neurosurgeon based in Goa India. He did his MBBS in Goa Medical college following which he did his neurosurgical training at Lilavati Hospital Mumbai. Having completed his DNB in Neurosurgery from the National Board of Examinations New Delhi.. Following this, he did a Micro Neurosurgery fellowship at KEM Hospital Mumbai and also received spine training in minimally invasive spine surgery. Subsequently, he worked at Vardhaman Mahavir Medical College and Safdarjang Hospital New Delhi.
Dr. Figueiredo has numerous publications and presentations at national and international conferences and has been the recipient of multiple awards. In addition to his practice, he has also conducted a lot of free camps for patients across Maharashtra and Goa.
He is a member of many professional organisations across the country . Besides his profession, he indulges in extracurricular activities like trekking, marathon running, tennis and playing the guitar.
