A 17 year old boy presented with fever , backache and rapidly progressive paralysis in both his legs.
Within 6 hours he was totally paralysed.
His MRI of the spine showed an epidural abcess extending along the entire dorsal spine.
The patient recovered completely and was walking within 24 hours.
