A 42 year old female presented with
  • decreased hearing in right ear
  • Headache, vomiting and weakness in her left hand and leg resulting in ability to walk
  • The CT scan of the brain showed a large tumour in the brain near the hearing nerve resulting in the decreased hearing. The tumour was also pressing on the brain stem causing the weakness in her hand and leg.
  • The tumour was removed totally and the patient had improvement in all her symptoms. She was able to walk the day after surgery.
