A 37 year old female presented with
  • severe head ache; more in the morning
  • The Headache was accompanied by projectile vomiting which relieved the headache
The headache was aggravated by coughing straining, getting up from sleeping position. She also had a couple of drop attacks (sudden loss of consciousness)
Her CT scan showed a small benign cyst called colloid cyst in the roof of the third ventricle.
This is a tricky location surrounded by vital brain structures
